Hi~
I use "VertexPaint" modify in 3ds max and export the model to f3d. When I open it in studio, I can't see the color painted by "VertexPaint". Can the VertexPaint modify be preserved in f3d files and how?
Thank U~

Hi,

Yes, VertexPaint modifiers are exported Once exported you need to add a VertexColor filter (using Flare Studio or directly by code) in order to see them. You can see a small tutorial video using Flare Studio here.

Cheers,

Thank U Vodopiviz~ But I'm afraid that I haven't got the right result. I followed the tutorial video. When I add a VertexColor filter, the object just disappeared...I don't know if I did something wrong.
Thanks again for your attention~

Hi,

It might be that you're using an outdated version of the exporter? You can dowload the latest one from the wiki. Once you install it, you can check if it's the correct version because it should read "(vc)" in the exprter window title.
