I constructed a model using Google Sketchup and export it as 3ds file. Till I import it into Autodesk 2009, everything is good. But the 3D Max Exporter does not render model correctly: all materials lost...  It happend after I update the Exporter to 1.1.0. The previous one can work, although some z-sorting issues occurs.. 

b.t.w. I applied external png files as my materials.

Try in each material set different Priority. It's like Z ordering.
  1. Make new material in 3D max exactly from Flare 3D materials
  2. in options for that material - change priority
