I'm sure Ariel and his team are working very hard and I definitely appreciate their hard work and everything they have done.  However, an entire year without any updates?  It's hard to justify the investment in a yearly license with no updates or any feedback.  There hasn't been a blog post or even a mention about the latest developments of the engine in an entire year.  2014 had lots of feedback and expectations set by the Flare3D team, but this year has been pretty quiet. I just want to be informed, so I can make good decisions and know that my investment in the engine is on the right path.

I need the commercial build 2.8.5, I have sent mail to info@flare3d.com, but no answer. Do any of you have it, and could you please send me a link to download.

Thx up front.

CHristian

You mean you have paid for the full version but are stuck to an older one?

Since Flare3D is now officially dead, the only sensible thing for Ariel to do is to release the source code of 2.8.6+ to the public. There are paying customers including myself who have several issues which can't be fixed without the source code.

Come on Flare3D, do what's right for all.

@Bill, we fully agree!  If Flare3D isn't able to support their software it sure would be nice if there was a way to contribute back fixes.  We'd even be interested in a paid source license if Flare3D/Ariel would offer that in lieu of support!  Come on Ariel, name your price, let's do a deal :)

There has been no update for 1 years.
I have a commercial version of 2.8.5. But it is very much BUG.
Because I can't modify the source code, so I incapable of action~!

For example,
scene.setViewport(x,y,width,height); // x > 0 or y > 0
pivot.getScreenRect() return the wrong result

For example,
pivot.gotoAndPlay() // blendFrames > actionremaining frame
The action can not be normal mixing

For example ……

We choose it, and can not be changed。
Please open source , sales support services。
Otherwise it is very unfair to us

Ariel, and really what is the real problem?
